Spend some Alone Time !!

Date:- 8th November 2022

Dear Friend,

Hi! How are you? I hope things are going well on your end. I have been writing a lot today. I sat on a long Journaling 📓session today for around 2 hours, and then again, I am writing this letter to you so if you find the advice crappy or if abruptly the letter ends, please don’t mind. I am working overtime today😅. Jokes apart, I want to talk to you about something interesting today, “Spending some Alone time ” in the company of your thoughts 💭.

Spending alone time is something that made a huge difference in my life and made me improve myself. This approach of taking time off from the daily scuffles and spending time 📆 for yourself has drawn praise and criticism from close quarters. But the point is that in our day-to-day life, we get so caught up with our tasks and routine that we hardly get a chance to sit down and analyze 🧐 our thoughts and understand our emotions. In our daily hustle, we hardly spend time learning what we are going through and why we are behaving the way we are.

Most of us run on Auto-pilot mode🛩️. We behave in a particular way; we talk a particular way. We operate on patterns built around our experiences, learnings, readings, things we have been told as a child, and so on. All of our actions are based on these patterns🔒, and we act according to these patterns subconsciously. We don’t make a deliberate effort to understand these patterns, learn where things are going wrong, and finally break the chain.

Spending some time in the company of our thoughts 💭has many benefits. The first thing is it calms you; it makes you feel more relaxed and peaceful🏖️. However, I understand for some. It would be a terrifying idea to be alone with their thoughts. Even then, I believe this will help, as they will understand why they feel that way, giving them a chance to work at the root cause level and eventually make them a person they love to hang out with🤗. Okay! I spoke enough. That’s all for this week. I will write you again next week until then stay happy 😉😊 !!! Bye 👋 !!!

Yours Lovingly

D.S.S.R.Anirudh
